Case Study: 99.01% On-Time Delivery For Life Science Logistics
The Value of On-Time Delivery in Life Science Logistics
Sterling, VA – On March, 29th 2014, the Excel Courier and Logistics team, along with 3,000 other individuals, ran 6.2 rainy miles in an effort to support the VCU Massey Cancer Center in the Massey Challenge, a charitable partner of the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k. This was the seventh year in a row for some of our Excel veterans and the first year for others. We are ecstatic to announce that in our venture to help this powerful cause, we were able to raise nearly $3,000 of the challenge’s $500,000 goal.
Nothing could stop this team from trekking out to Richmond to run this race, not even a forecast of 100% chance of rain. We embraced the weather and each one of us crossed the finish line with a smile on our face.
Aiding our community and our own personal journeys influenced us to participate and help triumph this disease. The overwhelming stories of hope that have been shared in preparation for this event are nothing short of encouraging. We thank all who helped us reach our goal and welcome anyone to join this rewarding experience with us next year.
